Record Turnout, Real Impact: Our RxPRO Connect Demo Series Is Changing How Pharmacies See Their Software

A month or so ago, the ComputAssist Group launched our second round of new RxPRO developments. Since then, we've been doing something we're genuinely proud of: taking each innovation on the road (well, onto Zoom) for live, in depth demo sessions so pharmacies across Southern Africa can see exactly what these tools mean for their business, not just read about them.

Three sessions in, and the response has told us everything we need to know.

A Series Built Around What Pharmacies Actually Need

We didn't want to launch four powerful new developments and leave pharmacies to figure them out alone. So we committed to walking through each one properly, live, with real screens, real workflows, and real time for questions.

Here's how the series has unfolded so far:

PRO Pocket: The First Session

We opened with PRO Pocket, our free, multifunctional stock-take tool that works right from a pharmacy's existing smartphone. No handheld scanners, no waiting for next day reports, no being tied to a workstation. Pharmacies simply register, log in from their mobile browser, and start counting stock using their phone's camera. Multi store teams can even swap between stores mid count. It's the kind of tool that turns a dreaded task into something quick and manageable, and attendees clearly saw the appeal.

MedGuard24, Upgraded: The Second Session

Next up was our upgraded MedGuard24, built to advance chronic medication management. For pharmacies blistering chronic medication into daily routines like breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bedtime, Version 3 brings automated allocation through new hotkeys, enlarged legends and clearer layouts for easier reading by nursing staff in retirement homes, and comprehensive charts on inserts that turn a simple blister pack into a complete medication management record. Fully integrated into RxPRO, there's no juggling between systems, just one seamless process supporting better patient care.

Online Ordering: The latest session

On the latest session, we demonstrated Online Ordering, our new online ordering platform that changes how pharmacies place and manage stock orders. Owners and managers can now order from anywhere, whether they're in the dispensary, at home, or sitting across the table from a wholesaler. The session covered secure web-based login, automatic website and pricing updates, real time notifications and responses, and permission controls, all designed to give pharmacy teams more flexibility and less admin.

What's made this series stand out isn't just the content, it's the turnout. We've seen record attendance and genuine, active interaction from pharmacies right across the region. Time and again, the feedback has echoed the same sentiment: these developments will make a real difference, from the quality of patient care right through to the financial bottom line.

That's exactly the outcome we set out to achieve.

One More Session To Go

We're rounding off the series in the next few weeks with a demo on our Shopify Integration, giving pharmacies a direct way to step into online sales. Located within StockPRO, it connects a pharmacy's existing stock and pricing directly to a Shopify store, with automated product syncing, simple setup, and local support every step of the way. It's a genuine new revenue stream for pharmacies wanting to reach customers well beyond their walk-in traffic.
