At the ComputAssist Group of Companies, we are committed to empowering pharmacists with more than just technology. We provide the business, workflow, and professional tools needed to succeed in today’s demanding healthcare environment. With this vision in mind, we recently hosted the Pharmacy Money Matters Masterclass - sessions designed to address the financial and professional realities of modern pharmacy practice.
The latest session held on the 23rd of January, drew strong participation from pharmacists nationwide, setting a purposeful tone for 2026 with a focus on financial sustainability, professional value, and patient-centred care. Feedback from attendees affirmed the relevance and impact of the discussion, highlighting its timeliness and practicality.
Our guest speaker, John Ireland, founder of Positive Impact, pharmacist, and CPD developer, brought a wealth of local and international experience. His insights enriched the conversation, sparking thoughtful dialogue and candid exchanges among participants. Pharmacists openly discussed challenges such as workload pressures, professional fees, and evolving patient expectations, while gaining actionable strategies they could apply immediately.
The high level of engagement underscored the success of the masterclass. It reflected our belief that small, consistent improvements can drive lasting change - a philosophy embodied throughout the session.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Hundreds of Pharmacists, Owners, Locums and Shop-assistants who attended and to John Ireland for his invaluable contribution. We look forward to continuing the Pharmacy Money Matters series, working alongside pharmacists to strengthen practices, elevate professional value, and enhance patient care throughout 2026 and beyond.
